CSL, UTA’s baseline of products, are desired in many idler, converting, packaging, radiation, and food applications because of their free spinning characteristics. These products are also well suited for use in conveyor applications such as paint or powder coat lines, and assembly lines. Bearings processed with CSL will spin free regardless of temperature.
CSL250
Most popular in applications where high temperatures are not a problem.
– Usable temperature range: -150°F up to +250°F (Note: stainless steel bearings may be required for subzero temperatures.)
CSL450
Most popular in applications where medium-high temperatures are a problem.
– Usable temperature range: +250°F up to +450°F (Note: C4 internal clearance bearing may be required at temperatures above 350°F.)
CSL660
Most popular in applications where high temperatures are a problem.
– Usable temperature range: 450°F up to +660°F (Note: C4 internal clearance bearing may be required at temperatures above 350°F and heat stabilized bearings may be required at temperatures above 450°F.)
– These products are NSF H-1 certified.
– These products are dry and will not attract contaminants, they will not drip or fling lubricant.
– These products will not flash or burn off when subjected to momentary direct flame.
– These products will not be washed out or degraded by wash down applications using water, steam, mild acids, or mild alkalis.
